Korean Glass Facial — Brisbane & Gold Coast
A glass facial combines a hydrating skin treatment, a muscle-relaxing treatment and a skin-rejuvenation treatment to support hydration and skin texture. The aim is the "Korean glass skin" look, which may help improve the appearance of pores and overall radiance. Where a prescription-only treatment may be appropriate, it is only available after an individual consultation and assessment by an appropriate practitioner.
This treatment is ideal for clients seeking a smoother, more radiant appearance — perfect before a big event such as a wedding, or just for everyday radiance. It is generally used on the face but can also be applied to the lips, neck and the back of the hands. Results vary between individuals.

Treatment preparation
- Avoid blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medication (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and St John's Wort) one week prior

Post-treatment care
- Keep the injection site clean
- Avoid touching the injection sites for 4–6 hours
- Avoid pressure treatments (e.g. massage, facials, waxing and micro-pigmentation) in the area for 2 weeks
- Avoid strenuous exercise and heat (e.g. saunas) for 24 hours
- Take antihistamines as required to reduce swelling
- Apply a cool compress for ten minutes every hour on the day of treatment — but do not apply ice
- Avoid facial treatments immediately after, and avoid "facing-down" treatments for 24 hours
Follow-up appointment
A follow-up appointment post-treatment is recommended to ensure you are happy with the results and that optimum results have been achieved. During the follow-up, we take pictures to compare with the before pictures. We also re-book your next appointment 4–6 weeks from your first session, as per treatment protocol, so you can maintain and achieve optimum results.
*This treatment may involve a prescription-only medicine. In line with Australian law, prescription medicines cannot be named or priced in advertising.
