How it works & what to expect
While exercise can reduce fat in some areas, you are sometimes left with stubborn pockets of fat that won’t budge. A fat-dissolving treatment is a non-surgical option that may help reduce the appearance of localised fat in areas such as under the chin, love handles and the lower abdomen.
It targets and reduces localised pockets of fat, assessed and prescribed at consultation where suitable. It is not a weight-loss method. Your practitioner will discuss realistic, individual outcomes at consultation.
Sessions
- Double chin: at least 2–3 sessions may be recommended
- Love handles: at least 3–4 sessions may be recommended
- Lower abdominal fat: at least 3–4 sessions may be recommended
Risks & who it's not for
Swelling and tenderness in the treated area are common and can last several days. As with any procedure there are potential risks and side effects, and results vary between individuals. Your practitioner will explain exactly what to expect — and discuss the full range of risks — before you decide to proceed.
